Pati Valley

A 3 or 5-day trek through the heart of Chapada Diamantina, with accommodation in the homes of local residents and landscapes accessible only by trails.

Pati Valley - Trekking in Chapada Diamantina

An immersive walking tour through one of Brazil's most stunning valleys.

The Pati Valley Trekking is a 3- to 5-day experience in the heart of the Chapada Diamantina National Park. Access to the valley is exclusively via trails, and during the trek you sleep in the homes of local residents, eat meals prepared in the region, and are accompanied by expert guides.

Throughout the hike, we traverse ancient paths that connect valleys, plains, rivers, and viewpoints, visiting unique attractions of the Pati Valley that are not part of other Chapada Diamantina itineraries. Therefore, trekking is a complementary experience to other tours and packages in the region, avoiding repeating the same places.

During the experience, we walked an average of 10 km to 18 km per day, facing steep ascents and descents, with variations of approximately 400 to 500 meters of altitude per day and reaching up to 1,400 meters of altitude.

This experience is ideal for those who are in good physical condition and wish to explore the Chapada Diamantina region more deeply, experiencing nature and the daily lives of families living in the Vale do Pati.
