The Pati Valley is considered one of the most beautiful trails in the world — a route immersed among incredible mountains, waterfalls, and vegetation.
During 5 days and 4 nights, the trek provides a deep connection with nature and local culture.
Accommodation is provided in residents' homes, where you can enjoy simple, welcoming, and typical meals.

• An average of 5 to 6 hours of walking per day , including stops.
• Trails ranging from moderate to challenging , with ascents, descents, and river crossings (altitudes up to 1,500 m)
• Backpacks are loaded only with personal items. Breakfast and dinner are served in the homes of the locals, and trail snacks (“lunch”) are prepared by the guide during the trek.

WHAT TO BRING?
Day 1: Pati Valley Viewpoint and Funis Waterfalls and rock formation
Departure: 7am Lençóis
* Distance: 12 km (walking)
Duration: 5-6 hours
* Travel time: 2 hours by car to Guine
Description: The adventure begins with a climb to Aleixos and continues through the vast fields of the Gerais do Rio Preto. The first stop is at the Vale do Pati viewpoint, with incredible panoramic views. Afterwards, we head for a swim in the Rio Preto river. After an immersive day, overnight stay in a local house with a cozy homemade dinner.

Day 2: Cachoeirão from Above
* Distance: 16 km (walking)
Duration: 6 hours
* Elevation: 746 meters
Description: On this day, the trail takes us to the impressive Cachoeirão viewpoint from above, where the view of the waterfalls plunging 320 meters into the canyon is unforgettable. It is one of the highest and most impressive points in the Pati Valley. After the hike, we return to the local house to rest and have dinner.
Day 3: Castle Hill
* Distance: 12 km (walking)
Duration: 5 hours
* Elevation: 660 meters
* Description: The day begins with a hike to Morro do Castelo, climbing through a dense forest to a fascinating cave that we explore with flashlights. After an incredible view from the summit, we return, passing waterfalls like Funis and Lajedo for another refreshing swim. The evening is spent again in a local house with another typical regional meal.
Day 4: Tree Well
* Distance: Approximately 8 km (walking)
Duration: 4-5 hours
Description: A day's easy hike takes us to Poço da Árvore, a hidden spot with crystal-clear waters, ideal for a refreshing swim. The day also offers time to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Overnight stay in a local home.
Day 5: Ascent of the Empire and Royal Road to Andaraí
* Distance: 14 km (walking)
Duration: 6-7 hours
* Description: The last day is a historic journey, climbing the Serra do Império and walking along the old Estrada Real (Royal Road), a route steeped in history from the diamond rush era. The trail leads us to Andaraí, where the adventure ends with a feeling of deep connection to the Vale do Pati (Pati Valley). Return to Lençóis by private transport.
