Fumaça Waterfall Trail + Riachinho
One of the most famous (and intense) trails in Chapada Diamantina. The route combines a steep 2 km climb followed by a flat section to the viewpoint, from where you can see the 380 m waterfall forming a "smoke" effect when the wind carries the water upwards. Even during the driest periods, the view of the canyon remains one of the most impressive in the region. After the trail, a swim in the Riachinho stream is the perfect way to end the day.
